This workflow shows the tokenization process for TMS tokens.

PAN Tokenization Process with TMS

The customer makes a purchase on the merchant's website using a PAN.

The merchant sends the PAN to the National Australia Bank gateway.

TMS creates a token for the merchant to store.

National Australia Bank detokenizes the TMS token when it is used in a transaction.

The detokenized PAN is exchanged across the payment ecosystem.
